FAQsWhat makes BROADWAY BAKER special? We create and bake everything to order using fresh all natural ingredients. We donate a portion of all sales to 3 NYC Charities. We (as much as we possibly can) use recycled materials for our packaging. And for those of you who haven't tried us yet, we invite you to try a Complimentary Sampler Box of our hand-crafted homemade goodness. What is your mission? BROADWAY BAKER is dedicated to creating fresh, all-natural cookies, brownies, mini loafs, granola, cupcakes and thoughtful gifts for people who love flavorfully delicious hand-crafted homemade goodness. We are mindful of our environment and community by using recycled packaging materials (in every way we possibly can) and donating a portion of all sales to charitable organizations. Everything we do at BROADWAY BAKER is done with passion, heart & art. What charities do you donate to? We are happy and proud to donate a portion of all sales to ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION NYC CHAPTER, ASPCA & BROADWAY CARES/EFA. In addition, throughout the year we provide our hand-crafted homemade goodness for several of their functions, walks & events. Do your products contain preservatives? No. We create our homemade goodness using only fresh and natural ingredients. From Callebaut Belgian chocolate to sweet creamy unsalted butter to farm fresh eggs to pure cane sugar--everything is real; nothing is imitation or processed. Because it just plain tastes better and is better for you when it's natural and real. How do I keep your goodies fresh? To guarantee quality, freshness and flavor we create our homemade goodness in small batches from scratch; and we bake it when you order it. That being said, enjoy the goodness while it's fresh because at Broadway Baker, everything is real; nothing is imitation or processed. If you choose, you can refrigerate our cookies, brownies & mini loafs for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Do you offer any wheat/gluten free products? Tom's Macaroons are created without any wheat or gluten. And our gluten free cupcakes are created with a combination of rice, brown rice and potato flours. We are working on creating more wheat/gluten free treat options and will be offering them soon. Please note that our products are created in a kitchen in which wheat, soy, dairy, eggs, tree nuts and peanuts are used. For those of you who are wanting a 100% gluten free bakery, give us a call; we're more than happy to recommend a few. Do you cater and can I order your homemade goodness for my special event? Yes and yes! We offer catering platters; please contact us for our catering menu. You can order directly from us or thru seamless.com (corporate catering). We are more than happy to create our handcrafted homemade goodness for your special occasion. Call us @ (646) 410-3857 or e-mail us. Do you provide corporate gifting? We do! Give Broadway Baker's freshly baked, handcrafted homemade goodness to colleagues, clients, and special friends. It's a wonderfully perfect way to say Thank You, Happy Holidays, or celebrate any Special Occasion. And it's a gift that gives twice in that Broadway Baker is happy to donate a portion of all sales to ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION NYC CHAPTER, ASPCA & BROADWAY CARES/EFA. Contact us to discuss all your gift-giving needs. Call us @ (646) 410-3857 or e-mail us. What do the colors in your signature raffia ribbon represent? The colors represent the 3 charities we support: Alzheimer's Association NYC Chapter (purple), ASPCA (orange), Broadway Cares/EFA (red) as well as the natural ingredients we use to create our homemade goodness (oatmeal & chocolate). What do you do with any extra treats you may have? We are happy to donate additional goodies and leftovers to St. Michael's Church on the UWS. Their Saturday Kitchen has been serving healthy and satisfying meals to the poor and homeless since 1983. Do you have a storefront? At this time we do not; but one day we will! So in the meantime, we create and bake our handcrafted homemade goodness in a NYC commercial kitchen. |
